As part of Hygiene Insecurity Awareness Week 2026, join Hope & Comfort for a special edition of Fresh Perspectives focused on the experiences of immigrant and refugee families facing hygiene insecurity.
In this 45-minute virtual conversation, we’ll hear directly from people working on the front lines about what families are navigating, why everyday essentials like soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, and menstrual products can be difficult to access, and how the lack of these basics can affect health, confidence, school, work, and a family’s ability to settle into a new community with dignity.
The conversation will also explore the role trusted community organizations play in making hygiene products available in familiar, welcoming settings, and what stronger, more equitable access could look like.
